I, (or my friend), can do the music for free, so why should I pay to hire a DJ service?

Nothing in the world compares to having a seasoned professional DJ in charge of the music at your wedding or event.  Remember if this is your wedding it's one night and one night only and you can't go back to undo whatever happens!  Are you able to bring 5,000 to 10,000 songs to your party?  Where will you get the equipment from?  Will it be quality professional equipment and suitable for your party?  Will you know how to hook everything up perfectly with no glitches?  Will you be able to keep all of your guests happy and dancing all night with the wide expanse of music needed for all those different ages and musical tastes?  Who will actually be in charge of your music?  Will it be a parade of different people choosing their own personal favourites all night long?  Do you want your event to run smoothly or are you willing to take the chance of your event becoming a gong show?

What is a reasonable rate for a professional DJ service?

In our opinion you almost always get what you pay for.  We aren't the cheapest DJ service in the market and we aren't the most expensive.  In most cases you will find a price range somewhere between $500 and $1500 dependant upon what type of an event you need a DJ for - a school dance, a wedding, a corporate party or an out of town event.

When I hire a professional DJ service what am I actually paying for?
